Product Marketing Manager

Full-time US Remote

Hey,

You have spent years helping developer tools companies grow. You get inside what a product does, figure out who needs to care about it, and then make sure they do. You have ran campaigns, owned messaging, moved metrics that matter, and you have the receipts to prove it.

We would like to work with you.

What Hackmamba Does

We are an AI-native developer marketing agency. Our clients are devtools and B2B SaaS companies who need to reach one of the hardest audiences in software: engineers who are marketing-allergic and make decisions based on what they can actually build.

We help them earn that trust through technical content, documentation, SEO and GEO, and go-to-market work that connects real products to visible adoption.

Why This Role Exists

Our clients come to us with a goal:

  • Get developers using this product.
  • Make this integration the default choice.
  • Turn this tool from unknown to obvious.

That goal needs an owner on our side. Someone who sits between the client and our delivery team and drives the whole thing.

That is this role.

What You'll Do

  • Own the product marketing strategy for a portfolio of devtools and B2B SaaS clients, covering positioning, messaging, go-to-market planning, and execution.
  • Run client relationships day to day. You are the person they call when something changes, when a campaign underperforms, or when they want to move faster.
  • Lead product adoption campaigns across content, distribution, SEO, developer relations, and community, pulling from Hackmamba's team based on what each client needs.
  • Define what success looks like for each client engagement and build reporting that shows whether you're getting there.
  • Translate client needs into briefs and direction the delivery team can execute on without losing what matters in translation.
  • Spot expansion opportunities within existing accounts and bring them to the table before the client has to ask.

What We're Looking For

  • You have done this before, either at an agency or inside a B2B SaaS or developer tools company. You know what product marketing looks like when it is working and when it is not.
  • You have evidence of growth. Not vague campaign summaries, but actual numbers. Adoption metrics, pipeline influence, retention rates, organic reach. We will ask about them.
  • You understand how developers evaluate and adopt tools. You do not need to write code, but you need to respect how the people who do think.
  • You are a strong communicator with clients and internal teams. Managing up, managing across, and keeping things moving.
  • You can hold a strategy conversation with a VP of Marketing and a technical conversation with a DevRel team in the same day without losing the thread.
  • Agency experience is prioritized. You know how to manage multiple clients, competing timelines, and shifting priorities without dropping anything.

The Setup

  • Salary: Competitive (we'll discuss specifics during the interview process)
  • Location: Fully remote (US-based, Eastern Time preferred)
  • How we work: Outcome-based. We care about what your clients achieve, not when you're online.

How We Are

We love what we do.

We are builders.

We ship.

We give each other real feedback.

We do not do performative hustle, and we do not do meetings that should have been a Loom.

When You Apply

Please send:

  • A short note on why this role caught your eye.
  • Samples of product marketing work you've led, including campaigns, go-to-market work, case studies, or anything that shows how you think and what you drove.
  • The metric you're most proud of, along with the context behind it.

No cover letter theatre. Show us how you think. We read every application, and we'll get back to you.
